Based in the US, VPNreactor is a company that takes pride in its high levels of privacy, security and the different features it provides. In this review, we will discuss VPNreactor in detail based on our experience using their free trial.

The Website

Right upon visiting the website, you will find it very eye-catching. It is sleek and polished with bold colours of black, red and white. VPNreactor.com is also easy to navigate as it is very organised and is packed with all the necessary information needed to understand what VPNreactor is all about and the services provided.

Pricing

VPNreactor offers 3 different packages (Basic, Max & Pro). Each package envelopes different features than the other depending on your needs. We find this kind of diversity very agreeable as it gives customers more than one option to invest their money in, instead of being forced to subscribe to a price plan that would not suit their needs.

Free Trial & Money-Back Guarantee

Even though VPNreactor offers a 7-day free trial, we were not happy with it. The 7-day free trial only allows you to connect to 1 server (US server) and through PPTP protocol only which is restricted in some countries. Moreover, you can only connect to VPNreactor free service for only 30 minutes, then it disconnects. Here is what is stated on their website:

“there is a 30 MINUTE WAIT  per VPN connection. Once you have been connected for 30 minutes, the VPN server will automatically disconnect from the VPN tunnel. You will need to WAIT 30 minutes & manually reestablish your VPN connection if you wish to continue to use the Free VPN Account. The outbound email (SMTP) is also blocked with this account”

As for money-back guarantee, VPNreactor does not provide money-back guarantee.

Payment Methods

VPNreactor accepts regular and anonymous payment options, such as: Paypal, Bitcoin, Paymentwall, Visa, Mastercard, American Express.

Privacy

Much like several other well-known VPN providers in the market today, VPNreactor partially keeps logs, such as: your IP address, ISP and the browsers used and time spent while visiting their website. However, they do not track your browsing activities.

” At VPNreactor.com, we recognize that privacy of your personal information is important. Here is information on what types of personal information we receive and collect when you use and visit VPNreactor.com, and how we safeguard your information. We never sell your personal information to third parties.”

In addition, VPNreactor uses third party ads to market their services. This means that sponsored ads may collect your personal information when you visit their website.

Customer Support

E-mail tickets is the only way to reach VPNreactor’s support team. Otherwise, you are on your own to browse through their F.A.Q and Knowledgebase sections, or watch their video tutorials. We were disappointed that VPNreactor does not offer a live chat support service. We have contacted their support team as we experienced troubles while connecting to their servers and received no response.

VPNreactor Features

In this section, we will go through the different features provided by VPNreactor. Though they do not provide advanced features, but they do offer above average features especially when it comes to online security. Scroll down for more details.

Security Protocols

VPNreactor uses high-level encryptions from 128-bit till 256-bit encryptions to secure different types of online activities for its users. It also comes with a stout bag to support more than one security protocol, such as: OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP/IPsec, SSH, StealthVPN over HTTPS, StealthVPN over Email, SSTP, IKEv2 and StealthVPNv2. Users can easily switch between those protocols at any time in a single click.

Compatibility

Impressively, VPNreactor supports many devices and platforms. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android and Linux, so it can be used on desktops, smartphones and tablets. Not only that, but it can also be used on routers, PlayStation consoles, Xbox, SmartTVs, Chromebook and Windows phones.

Servers & Bandwidth

VPNreactor unfortunately does not have a massive global network of servers (56 servers). It only has a handful of servers scattered across 18 countries: USA, UK, TAIWAN, HUNGARY, EGYPT, NETHERLANDS, CZECH, SINGAPORE, JAPAN, CANADA, GERMANY, FRANCE, RUSSIA, SWEDEN, TURKEY, KOREA, MALAYSIA and AUSTRALIA. There are no limits or restrictions when it comes to switching between serverst.

As for bandwidth, the company offers unlimited bandwidth and speed to all of its paid users.

Simultaneous Connections

VPNreactor offers only 2 simultaneous connections. This means that it can be used on 2 devices (a computer and a handheld device) simultaneously.

Installation & Software

We signed up for a free account to test and evaluate the service on our Windows system and we were not impressed. The signing up process was very easy. All you need to so is to provide some personal details, a username and a password. You will receive 2 emails activating your account and explaining the software installation process.

The software interface is well-designed and simple. Unfortunately, we had only one option for a server which was the US and one option for an encryption protocol which was PPTP. We failed to connect to VPNreactor multiple times even though PPTP is not restricted where we are located. Therefore, we submitted an email ticket to their support team, but we received no response.
